Erwin's Country Kitchen: Reviews & Ratings
Stopped here for breakfast since my usual spot was closed for vacation. What a pleasant surprise I did. The breakfast was delicious and not pricey. The staff was friendly and only forgot my hot sauce for my eggs but brought it out quickly when I reminded them a second time. It was a Buffalo wing sauce and wished they had Tabasco or Challula but that is ok. I will be back again to try their lunch and dinner. The outside is run down and inside is full of pictures and decorations to keep you looking around till your food arrives. It had a nice crowd coming and going which is a good sign. Just to add - I stopped in for dinner and it was equally good. My son did not care much for the sauerkraut and said it tasted like rye bread. We figured it might be from the caraway seeds in it. Needles to say he finished the whole bowl and said it grew on him….
An old-time family owned neighborhood restaurant where your name and preferences are remembered. Great omlettes made to order. Very fair prices. If you want to support local small businesses, you'll love this place.
Hey it's me, girl whose grandpa likes the music here. This place is amazing! Tons of options we both enjoy, very nice staff, pretty decor. Was compelled to leave a review because today my grandpa pointed out they gave me one less chicken wing and they cooked me up two more to compensate. What a place, would highly recommend :)
Incredible made-from-scratch Austrian food. Charming and helpful Ukrainian waitress, who spoke fluent English accommodated all our substitutions (we were there for lunch and requested off-menu items like spaetzle.) I thought I was looking at a menu from the 1950s when I saw the prices! Can't wait to return.
Great place for breakfast! My favorite is the kielbasa and egg wrap. Very reasonably priced too! They also have good schnitzel for dinner!
The absolute best place around!!! Really fun & cute decor, laid-back atmosphere, DELICIOUS food and exciting daily specials, not to mention incredibly low prices! I'd eat here every single day if I could!
Very old style, German traditional restaurant. Family warm taste. Awesome service!
Stopped in with my elderly mother for a quick bite to eat (lunch). The nice part is the price point is extremely affordable. The lunch portion size of meals (can’t speak for sandwiches) was the perfect size. It’s definitely a smaller establishment so if you are in a rush, I would suggest going elsewhere. I ordered mom a meatloaf and mashed potatoes(lunch size). Truly this was the perfect size for her, since she usually will not eat too much. To start, I ordered a small tossed salad. Just your every day run of the mill iceberg lettuce, cucumber slices, carrots and tomato. Two pieces of delicious rye bread with butter also appeared when the salad arrived. For my meal I order the lunch portion schnitzel with German potato salad. Since I had a hard time making up my mind which side I wanted, I also ordered a red cabbage side. The red cabbage was absolutely delicious. It had a nice sweet taste. I wanted the German potato salad to have a little bit more vinegar. Overall, for the price of 7.50 for the schnitzel and $1.50 for the extra side I would say it was a great lunch. I would recommend the red cabbage if I were to order this again. As for the service, There was only one waitress working the dining room . While we were sitting there, a few extra tables came in. So there would be times when she was off taking other people’s orders or bringing out meals. In no way is this a complaint, just part of my experience on the day we were there. The restaurant definitely has a special atmosphere reminiscent of a small country restaurant you would go to on a vacation.
